How we got here
Picture the most meaningful moment in your life.
It’s not about what you see, but who you see. That’s because relationships and our connections to other humans are so important. This truth regularly surfaced in our research and in our lives, so we came together to make it our work.
Before we were HumanSide, we held different titles across industries. What unified us was our love for life and other people.
What helps us be happy in life? What makes someone a people-person?
Those questions — yes, we really like asking questions — sparked founder Katie Greenman’s early passion studying human development. Turning her research into interactive learning experiences, she saw what it did for people to connect and make change for themselves, at work, even across their cities.
We founded HumanSide in 2015 to bring different backgrounds and disciplines together under one vision: as a team, we would do our best work and live our best lives giving people the tools to do the same. You’ll notice a lot of faces on this page, that’s because our plans for HumanSide are big and always growing. From the United Nations to Google, from fresh start-ups to Nike, we gather global innovators to further a culture where businesses and humans can thrive. Let’s keep building that vision together.
